EasyLaTeX Surpasses 100,000 Registered Users Worldwide
EasyLaTeX has passed 100,000 registered users worldwide, with users in more than 80 countries and regions—from students and researchers to other academic professionals. The milestone is an opportunity to reflect on why we built the product and the work still ahead.
We are also marking the occasion with a user appreciation campaign, including a limited-time membership offer. The growth reinforces our commitment to building around real research needs.
A Product Rooted in Research Work
Researchers have many specialist tools for references, notes, and typesetting. Having more tools does not always make the overall workflow easier.
A paper requires literature search, reading in other languages, notes, drafting, equations and figures, references, and repeated collaboration. LaTeX users also spend time on package configuration and compilation problems.
These activities are connected, yet often split between separate applications. Researchers find themselves reopening old notes, losing their train of thought to formatting errors, and checking which version a collaborator changed.
Our team works with literature, academic writing, and LaTeX projects too. Reducing that repetitive overhead—and giving researchers more room for the research itself—is why we started EasyLaTeX.
Connecting Research Tools in One Workspace
We took inspiration from familiar tools such as Overleaf, Zotero, and Obsidian while building a workspace that combines literature tasks, academic writing, and LaTeX editing with AI.
Users can search, read closely with AI, organize arguments, and continue into drafting. The native LaTeX editor supports mainstream engines, collaboration, and project history; Agent can use project context to help investigate compilation problems. We are also extending workflows for comparing papers, research diagrams, and Beamer presentations.
Feedback from different disciplines and career stages continues to shape the product.
An August–September Thank-You Campaign
For August–September 2026, the milestone campaign offers 500 AI credits that users can claim by signing in. Purchases during the campaign are offered at half price; this offer cannot be combined with the new-user discount.
Thank you for trying the product, describing your workflows, and sharing suggestions. Your participation makes these improvements possible.
What Comes Next
100,000 registrations are a milestone and a responsibility. More varied research workflows place greater demands on stability and usability.
We will focus on paper reading and analysis, large-project compilation and troubleshooting, and closer connections between Agent and the editor. Collaboration and resource management will continue to improve alongside them.
