EasyLaTeX 1.2.1: Upgraded AI and a Refined Product Experience
EasyLaTeX 1.2.1 is now available. The release upgrades its underlying AI capabilities and refines everyday experiences across research tasks, account management, paper reading, and the website.
Upgraded AI Capabilities
New GPT-Family Models
The update introduces newer GPT-family models for reasoning-intensive research work. We have adjusted the default model configuration to balance responsiveness, output quality, and usage cost.
Better Adaptation to Research Tasks
For academic writing, literature analysis, and LaTeX debugging, we have refined context handling, instruction following, and output quality. In our internal tests, overall performance on these tasks improved by approximately 15%, with stronger stability on complex work.
Multimodal Research Illustrations
Nano Banana image generation is now integrated. Start with a text description or a hand-drawn sketch to create a workflow, experimental schematic, or model architecture diagram, then iterate on the details for a paper or presentation.
Account Management and PDF Reading
Account settings now support email binding and verification, along with Google account binding management. Account deletion includes an email-verification step.
For long papers, PDF preview loading now prioritizes the pages being viewed. Readers can start inspecting documents with many figures and references without waiting for every page to finish rendering.
A Refreshed Website and Product Demonstrations
The website has updated layouts and content presentation, with product demonstrations on the home and feature pages. The animations make Agent and editor workflows easier to understand than text alone.
Version 1.2.1 improves both the AI foundation and the surrounding experience. We will continue using feedback to refine model integration, research-task handling, and day-to-day features.
